ALA + Insulin

New member
Can you take ALA and Insulin together or is there no need to. If you are using Insulin should you just lay off the ALA?

Peace

I have tried this.

I don't suggest it - Went hypo very fast at a fraction of my regular iu dose.

ALA is a very potent insulin receptor sensitizer.

I am somewhat of an "insulin veteran", this about my 4th time now. :)
I am only wondering if using ALA + Insulin will increase the effectiveness of the Slin.

Peace

The answer to your question is yes. But, be careful. You will need much lower doses of slin while using ala.

What are the long term risks/effects of insulin? Is there a chance your natural insulin levels will be all messed up & in turn you'll have to keep shooting insulin like a diabetic for the rest of your life? I'm very ignorant on the subject, it scares the hell out of me & I doubt I will ever mess with it but, I still like to be informed. Thanx.....Supertech

If you use it properly from the start, your biggest problem is the eventual down-regulating of your peptide receptors (insulin receptors) - that’s why running some ALA or metformin post-cycle could assist.

If you use it improperly you will be put into a coma from glucose starvation or / and die. Chances you will make yourself insulin dependent type 1 are slim to none (and actually quite hard to do) - making yourself type 2, or insulin resistant is more likely.
