i have read through the posts about using ala at about 3g a day for going into and staying in ketosis, while eating 200-400g of carbs a day. i have a few questions

1) how long did it take for your body to get into ketosis?
2) i am on prop/tren/winny going into week 5....would this hurt my gains at all if i did it for the last 3 weeks?
3) do i just split up the 3g with my meals?

thanks for the help guys. for those that are doing this now, if you could share how you are running the ala and how it is working i would appreciate it. also, how bad are the sides from ala at increased dosages? thanks again
 
1. Everyone is different... for me it was about a day and a half @ 3 grams a day.

2. No it should not hinder your gains... if it does it is miniscule.

3. Yes, 3 grams devided among how many meals you have a day... prefferably 4 or 5.


Today I took 5 grams of ALA on 5 meals.... I feel tired this evening and I have the taste of ketosis in my mouth, but other than that I am good.

Thanks buddy... I am currently out right now.. I bought 15000 premade ALA caps on Thursday and moved them all by Sunday. Crazy, I never expected to sell it that quickly. I am ordering another batch.

i got my ALA from tyguy in the mail today, and took 1 g split up with meals and am already in ketosis.... i had previously had difficulty getting into ketosis w/o ALA, but not anymore!! also, tyguy has delivered a good product quickly and cheaply... thanks bro!

already in ketosis after a day....i am definately going to try this in about a week. any other experiences you guys want to share?

I used 3g and was in ketosis in 24hrs the stix indicated any where from trace to small so i bumped up to 4.5g and i went glycemic so i all depends on your body I also weight 200lbs.

No i dont think this will hurt your gains keep in mind what this stuff does it helps store gluycos in muscle instead of fat.
 
what does ketosis feel like... i'm eating tons of carbs (mainly rice, wheat bread and the occasional pasta) and losing body fat with ALA. I feel fine, nothing weird-- am i supposed to feel tired? I know this is a newbie question but never really was too interested in ketogenic diets and what not. I just think having zero carbs in your system is just plain cruelty to your body.,
 
I feel lethargic, you develop a taste in your mouth that isn't too pleasant.. ummm, those are my most obvious signs... get a keto stick at a pharmacy to know for sure.
