If ALA is fat soluable as well as water soluable, it shouldn't matter if you take it before meals or not. Fat soluable means it will be released slowly in the body, and water soluable is disposed of quickly. So you will have a build up of ALA in your body, takeing 800-1500mg/day...and no need to take it before meals. That being said, it should also stand to reason that too much ALA would be harmful, because of this build up. Does any one know the dangerous dose of ALA?
