ALA Before Morning Cardio.. ?

I read that taking ALA before AM cardio can push your blood sugar even lower and help burn even more fat. What do you all think about this?

ALA can be taken in the morning for increased fat burning effect. However, as long as you are ketone positive the effects of a recent dose may not be as pronounced. Keep in mind that it takes a little while for the glucose effects to kick in. This is achieved by taking the ALA about 30 minutes before the workout to ensure it has hit the bloodstream.

One trick is to take some plain niacin with your ALA. When you feel the flushing effect from the niacin you can be relatively sure the ALA is in your bloodstream to help with added fat burning. Although there are different rates of absorption, it is a general guideline.

One other trick is to take ALA at night before bed (start with a low dose and work your way up to a higher dose). This way you can burn fat at night while your blood glucose is relatively lower. The net effect over time is like consistent mild cardio.

Truly the best effect of ALA, other than the incredible results you'll likely achieve with high dose ALA is going to be in the realm of muscle tone.
