ALA and bulking

I agree I hardly gained anything while using r-ala with all carb meals while bulking. Some say this is because your not gaining fat, but instead just muscle, but I don't think this is true because I didn't really put on much of any weight.
 
i used to use it because my trainer recommended it and he might be right but i heard from a friend that it is actually counterproductive because you actually end up "feeding" the cells the wrong stuff or something. Doesnt sound like much of an explanation but he recommendes cla which is even more $

Do you have any articles or studies on this? It sounds like a really interesting theory.

Do you think its possible the extra glucose ALA transfers into the muscle crowds out the amino acids or what?

man how do you people gain muscle with without carbs, all the other ways are not only expensive and unhealthy but fuckin crazy

I;ve said fuck you to all the low carb shit and ever since i've been feeling like a man.

if i gain, it's from 60grams of whey protein per day. And better absorption of it through the use of r-ala.

Low carb is great if you're 250lbs and are the token american fat whale. better than all that diet industry bullshit crap where the only weight you lose is in the wallet.

i agree bro. i tried low carbs once and i felt like a pussy. i dont need to go that route. im not even close to beiing fat. im just gonna get my fat intake low and take in no more carbs then i need.

If you follow Duchaine's Body Opus to the letter, you WILL get stronger and bigger on a CKD. No question about it. Radically transformed my physique: gained LBM and lost considerable fat.
