First, I'd like to just say that I've searched the forum for similar topics and was left with the feeling that most people asking about sarms or aas and sprinting are young and looking for either the easy way or a way to rush results. Hopefully you'll see that I'm on the other end of the spectrum
I ran track in college and am now in my decline. Even as diet has cleaned up, training has gotten smarter, more well laid out, and recovery better monitored I've been losing speed the last two years.
Stats:
Age- 29
Weight- 185
Height- 6ft
bf- very low, but haven't tested recently.
Lifetime Prs (4 years ago)- 100m- 10.2x, 200m- 20.7x ( track results are easily searchable and able to be tied to a name, so I'd rather not list exact times)
Current season PRs- 10.5x, 21.2x
Powerclean- 315
Squat- 485
Supps I've taken- HCGenerate, bioforge, creatine, beta-alanine, creatinol-o-phosphate, preworkouts, etc
I'm not looking for a miracle that's going to restore my youth and I don't compete in anything but open meets and fun summer meets. I'm not tested, nor am I competing in anything that will take money away from others by winning. I just enjoy pushing myself. That's why I have been looking into SARMs, especially for its effect on joints. I'd like to ride out the next two or so years still competing but would like some help recovery wise. I've used HCGenerate on the recommendation of others as a testbooster and saw some alright results, definitely better than without it, but I'd just like to give myself a good training and recovery kick.
Would a SARM be a good introductory cycle? I was thinking about adding in an insulin mimetic like n2slin due to the glycogen demands of training. 3 days a week I'm on the track for about 2 hours if you include warm up, sprints, and plyos, and then about an hour in the weight room. The other 2 days are about 2 - 2 1/2 hours total of tempo style workout, conditioning, and general lifts.
I'm trying to think if I'm forgetting something here. I'm not entirely interested in an AAS cycle, so if you are going to suggest it, I'll listen but its going to take a lot of convincing. I do not know much about peptides, HGH, or igf-1 though, so maybe that's the route that I should be more looking in to?
My goals are to just recover a bit better and restore my joints a bit.
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
