Aging sprinter interested in sarms

First, I'd like to just say that I've searched the forum for similar topics and was left with the feeling that most people asking about sarms or aas and sprinting are young and looking for either the easy way or a way to rush results. Hopefully you'll see that I'm on the other end of the spectrum

I ran track in college and am now in my decline. Even as diet has cleaned up, training has gotten smarter, more well laid out, and recovery better monitored I've been losing speed the last two years.

Stats:

Age- 29
Weight- 185
Height- 6ft
bf- very low, but haven't tested recently.
Lifetime Prs (4 years ago)- 100m- 10.2x, 200m- 20.7x ( track results are easily searchable and able to be tied to a name, so I'd rather not list exact times)
Current season PRs- 10.5x, 21.2x
Powerclean- 315
Squat- 485

Supps I've taken- HCGenerate, bioforge, creatine, beta-alanine, creatinol-o-phosphate, preworkouts, etc

I'm not looking for a miracle that's going to restore my youth and I don't compete in anything but open meets and fun summer meets. I'm not tested, nor am I competing in anything that will take money away from others by winning. I just enjoy pushing myself. That's why I have been looking into SARMs, especially for its effect on joints. I'd like to ride out the next two or so years still competing but would like some help recovery wise. I've used HCGenerate on the recommendation of others as a testbooster and saw some alright results, definitely better than without it, but I'd just like to give myself a good training and recovery kick.

Would a SARM be a good introductory cycle? I was thinking about adding in an insulin mimetic like n2slin due to the glycogen demands of training. 3 days a week I'm on the track for about 2 hours if you include warm up, sprints, and plyos, and then about an hour in the weight room. The other 2 days are about 2 - 2 1/2 hours total of tempo style workout, conditioning, and general lifts.

I'm trying to think if I'm forgetting something here. I'm not entirely interested in an AAS cycle, so if you are going to suggest it, I'll listen but its going to take a lot of convincing. I do not know much about peptides, HGH, or igf-1 though, so maybe that's the route that I should be more looking in to?

My goals are to just recover a bit better and restore my joints a bit.

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

welcome to elite fitness my friend... you and i have some things in common here as i do a lot of running as well... i can definitely help you out with your question but i need to know a bit more info from you...

tell me all of your goals from running a cycle... sarms are one of my specialties and i have ran them with great success but i want to know: are you wanting to add strength? endurance? size? are wanting to gain or lose any weight? please let me know a bit more about your ultimate goals here and i will get you set up on something that will treat you very well!

Thanks for the reply and the welcome.

My main goals from the cycle would be, if I had to put them in order

1) recover faster from the previous high intensity day of training (speed training, plyos, and max strength or power style lifting)

2) regain some of the power and explosiveness that I've lost

3) hopefully reduce some joint pain. My knees aren't what they used to be.

Endurance isn't an issue as my races are the two shortest. It's more about regaining the speed I once had and being able to train speed and strength at the level I used to be able to.

Hope that helps, if not I'll do my best to answer more. Thanks for the help!

I'd recommend mk-2866, but you're in good hands with Dylan, I learned a lot about SARMS from his other posts. Good luck!

I would say to run a cycle of ostarine and s4 stacked for 8 weeks... the only side effect that you would really have to worry about is with s4 and that would be the night vision side... some people experience yellow tint at night after certain amounts of time using s4 or if they dose it too high... if that occurs to the point where it becomes unbearable then you would run s4 5 days on and 2 days off... otherwise, this cycle should be side free... after 8 weeks you would run a 3 week mini pct... i can set you up a complete cycle if you like, just let me know what you want to do but my recommendation would definitely be that stack my friend...

Awesome, thanks for the help. I'll search around a bit more for info on common dosages for stacking them and if I have any more questions I'll shoot you a PM, is that cool?

anytime man, but i already know all the dosages and what is common...

1-8 ostarine 25 mg... dosed once a day in the a.m.
1-8 s4 50 mg... split dosage (25mg in the a.m. and 25 mg early afternoon)

with your s4 dosage, you can start to slowly taper up after 2 weeks of 50... go to 60 mg in week 3 and see how that goes for 10-14 days... if the sides are still small, then you can taper up to 70... its all increments of 10... i was able to get up to 100 mg but most are not able to go that high... just be smart with it...

I would also run hcgenerate alongside of it for 8 weeks... 5 caps a day... 3 in the a.m. and 2 in the p.m...

Then you will run a 3 week mini pct

Unleashed
Forged PCT
Bridge ( I double dose bridge but thats up to you)

you can pm me anytime with questions...
