Im taking an 8 week cycle of anavar, and wasnt really planning on taking anything for post cycle.
2 questions.... How long should i cycle off, and should i take any post cycle?
I was thinking of taking some Winny next....

You don't really give up much in the way of details here, bro. How much Anavar do you take per day? Knowing this will help determine your post-cycle therapy requirements. Generally, you want your on time to be equal to your off time. That means you should be off for 8 weeks.

Why wouldn't you run PCT?!?!?

Anavar is expensive, and it IS supressive. PCT is cheap. Why risk it - are you trying to save a few bucks or something?

Run standard PCT for sure bro. I can't understand why you wouldn't.

Then again, I wouldn't recommend var-only either - I ran that cycle and was very unimpressed.

I will use standard nolva , tribulus, creatine, zma and hcg
my cycle is 250 test enanth and 30 mg var a day.

im taking 40/mg ed, im not tryin to save any money, i was just told that it really isnt a necessity to run PCT after a var only cycle... i guess im wrong, thats why i asked.
This is my first cycle, i was just wanting to take something mild.

I'm taking 30mg/day/8wks of BD Var. Planning on doing 2-3 weeks of 15-20mg of Nolva, Tribulus and sticking with the Creating I've been taking. Its not as bad of shutdown as you'll get with other AAS but still suppressive and if you want to keep you gains or more than you would without a PCT..then do it.

I don't know why these guys keep saying "var suppresses, var suppresses." It has a minimal, if any, impact on HPTA. Of course, ancillary drugs are pretty cheap, and it wouldn't hurt to run them, but why, if you don't need them? You're best bet is to go to your dr., get a small blood sample taken and have your test. level checked. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have your liver enzymes checked too, as 'var is a c-17-alfa-alkylated drug, and so is somewhat liver toxic.

you definitely need a PCT, see the post steroid cycle forum and check out drjmw's PCT.

Even for something as mild as anavar, your testosterone will be supressed.

I agree. You are surpressed within 48hrs of ANY aas intake. Run PCT, you will need it. Blood work will prove it to you.
