After gyno surgery Q

What are the risk's if the surgeon fuck's up, and how long after the surgery before you can start lifting again?

The risks are that you may have very odd looking nipples with obvious scars and/or you may still have gyno when all is said and done. I think the off-time is something like 6-10 weeks for proper healing if you go with the lipo and everything.

I can only speak from the experience of having the glands removed, as my insurance would not pay for removal of the all of the tissue (although a fair portion of fibrous tissue was removed due to its proximity to the glands). No drains were used and swelling was normal (enough to make it look like no surgery had been in the first place).

Pain was minimal, although a general soreness lingered for approx. 3 weeks. After a week I did some cardio and felt fine. After 2 weeks I couldn't stand it anymore and did some moderate lifting (which would've been fine except for when I let the bar rest across my chest--ouch!). After 3 weeks I was back to normal (for the most part).

Having the indentation behind the nips is a little wierd, and a year later they are still numb. Small price to pay though. My gyno was caused from puberty btw. Not a fun thing to deal with when you're a kid...

Hope this helps

Thanks! Damm 6-10 weeks without lifting, i think i will go crazy or maybe get depresst :(

Trust me i am going to check the doc's work relly good, before he/she starts doing eny cutting!

My nipples look a little wierd... and I was cleared to lift about 10 days after the surgery. Insurance didn't pay for it however... and I have two scars about an inch below my nipples.

Also, I am still prone to gyno... my nipples will get sore and I need a hefty supply of arimax for a cycle... and for get anadrol... I was on it for just over a week and my nips got puffy... I have some very small bitch titties... not very big now... but bigger than I would like. I am about to say fuck it, go in and have the ENTIRE gland removed... I heard then, you have inverted nipples because there is nothing behind it.

Well 3 weeks is way better then 6-10, you can't relly see my gyno but i can feel it real bad if i touch my nippels, and i don't want em to get eny bigger!

I was a little worried about the whole inverted nipple thing myself. But even though there isn't anything behind mine anymore they never inverted or "sunk in" so to speak.

I personally think its counter productive to have gyno surgery without removing the gland. Yes, there is a risk that your nips will look a little odd, but it has to be way better than sporting a rack. Also, if you have gyno you're probably predisposed to it, which makes removing the gland that much more important (and sensible).
