Do you think someone will come up to George Lucas and buy his rights to make more starwars films?

that would suck though...I think he should continue making his movies...there are more than those 5 episodes right??? I thought there were a shit load of them?

theres tons after the original three, in the books. they set up a republic, someone else goes dark etc new jedi;s are born (luke has a son, hans and leia do)

George should had made Episodes 1-3 first and then Episodes 4-6. What a screw up! Episodes 7-9 most likely will never be done especially from George Lucas.

George has lost touch with the youth, so he can't spin tales that will attract his prime demographic.
He got beat out [profit-wise] by Harry Potter and Spider-Man. Both are story lines that actually appeal to kids.
He lost out in toy sales to both of those movies as well.
I don't even want to get into how bad he lost out to LoTR.
After Ep 3, its in his best interest to end it on a good note and stop doing the Star Wars series.
Or he *could* make films from the Dark Horse stuff. Those would be aimed at a different demographic and might get a new following.
Bottom line: Lucas can't live off the 30 year old fan-base.

It was a horrible idea to even think of N'sync in Starwars 2.Thank God that N'sync wasn't in it. Bad enough Jar Jar was created!

its good right now as the themes sit at - the rise and fall of anakin- the acceptance of evil than back to good - ect ..
with the newer movies although they have much much better effects i hate how he is writing some of the plot like its a fucking disney movie, putting the little kid as the protagonist in the first one and including jar jar - maybe he wants a younger audience, with the existing fans = more money, but it doesnt resemble the feel of the original movies.
The best movie / and the darkest i predict will be ep 3 - because if u look at what has to happen in it to put it in ep.4 theres is alot. hopefully we wont try to do something stupid with this one. All the jedi council must die - including samjackson- mace- queen prob will die - luke/leigh born , hidden - existing sith aprentice dies - anakin falls into a lava pit or something and turns into dath- empire takes over ect...

George I heard is supposed to re-release The Special Edition of the original trilogy sometime soon with even more new footage.Calling it The Special Edition Deluxe!

I WOULD SAY JUST LET BYGONES BE BYGONES! LEAVE THE STARWARS SERIES DIE AFTER EPISODE 3. REMEMBER THE EWOK MOVIES? ARRAH!
read that he was actually contracted for 9 movies.....but he commented that he will be close to 70 when the final Star Wars comes out, so he re-released episodes 4-6 in the theaters as specal edition, and those fill the obligation for the final 3 movies....just what i read.

at least make a VII. i don't care if he is 90. make the damn movie. i don't care if it's crap either, as long as it is star wars, i will go see it.
