Keeping in mind that I know nothing about aircraft, historic or otherwise, our panel of experts should hang their heads in shame for not finding the answer before me, because it took me literally three minutes of Googling to get it. I started with a search on "ugly WWII aircraft" and the third or fourth hit took me to a message board thread with a picture of this flying lump.
