Advil and Gear?

Silverbackn and I were talking about pain relivers and niether of us were 100% sure about the following so any feedback is appreciated.

Does Advil/Ibuprofin interfere with protein synthesis by inhibition on the cox-2 enzyme. Is advil ok to take for muscls soreness in smaller doses when on gear?

i was told that anything over 800mgs per dose would cause interference with protein synthesis.. anything under doesn't..

good ? and is there any adverse effects on liver count?

Advil and all pain pills do some type of damage to the liver over long periods of usage but protien synthesis I don't know.
