Advice on speeding up gains...

I need to get some advice from those of you who know your share on hormone supplementation. I'm 17 and I've been lifting for about a year and a half. I started out at 165 and I'm currently gaining at 195, doing this without a supplement other than Whey, BCAA's, Omega 3's, and a daily Multi. (at 5'11'') So I can't complain about not getting results, like most. I simply want to speed up my gains and get the most out of my work. But inorder to do this the most intelligent way I'd like to know if I should stick to what I've been doing seeing as it's done something naturally, and wait a few years to get into the hormones, or go through with some hormone supplementation now. I'm not just a blind young lifter, I read A LOT on everything to do with building, and I've been looking into Pro Hormones for a while now, but I've never asked anyone with some knowledge on the issue, hence why I even started my thread. So thanks for your time...

hey bro

first off you should give yourself some time. If I were you keep doing what you are doing your makeing a lot of gains and that is what you want.as for the anabolics give your self a couple years . when you can't do no more then go to the next level. I think you are alittle young for AS but you will do what you want.

Starting to young can cause alot of problums with your body because you are still producing HGH and natural test at a good level. to be truthful most BB start using because they are not getting any gains in the gym and they think AS is the way.but the real key is food lots of it .Even if you want to cut you have to eat a lot. I found out the hard way my last show I looked my best and I eat like a horse the right things of course .but i did really well. 230 4.5 % bf . but before I could not go under 5% to save my life. Just keep doing your research and stay on top of things.

just a little hint you need to eat 8 to 10 times a day and 1oz of water for every body pound for good size gains.a lot more things go in to a good diet but that is the key

Thunderman, that's what I was thinking in the first place. It's just tempting to want to speed up gains. As for using gear I'm no where near that stupid, I have about 4 years till I'm gonna consider gear. The prohormones I'm refering to GNC won't even carry. The cycle I was contemplating looks like this

(19-Nor-4-androsten-3,17-diol), 1 300mg pill with Breakfast and dinner daily.
(4-androsten-3,17-diol) , 1 300mg taken 30-45 minutes prior to workout, and on days off take with lunch.

The conversion enzyme is the same for both (3-ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3HSD) ) , so you split the doses up inorder to keep competition between the two to a minmum. 19-Nor converts to Nandrolone, and 4-Diol converts to Testosterone, the desired effect of taking the 4-Diol before working out is to increase aggresiveness in the gym. I chose the Diol/Diol stack as both have the lowest conversion rates to DHT and they aren't able to aromatize in their original form, so it's low if they do convert. That's what I know, but I'm still not sure...

If prohormones worked well....no one would be buying gear.

I think your fascia can only stretch so much so quickly. Your muscle bellies can only stretch so far....otherwise....we would see 500 pound cut monsters. This is why short cycles actually work better and multiple cycles over time can have a dramatic effect on physical appearance.

One thing that worked well in the past was adding a quality creatine product to a cycle. Remember, on it's own, creatine is not a muscle builder like steroids, BUT....the big but.....creatine can force extracellular fluid back into the muscle belly.

Since muscle is mostly water anyhow.....something like creatine can theoretically force muscle "growth" by forcing extra water intracellularly..

One of the craziest cycles I ever did was 1 tab of Anadrol a day with roughly 20 grams of EAS Creatine. The pumps were so intense that I felt like my skin was ripping. I kept most of the gains too....since I had little extracellular water bloat.

Iron,
Try upping your calorie intake. Keep your fat levels where you are now. Instead of Whey...try some High cal meal replacements, Something like 450 cals, 4 g fat, 2 g unsat. fat, 60 g protien. Drink a couple a day along with whatever else you have normally been eating.

Yup keep going with what you are doing bro, it is working. Don't fix what isn't broken. When you start plateau ing than I would start considering low test dosages or fina or deca.

Defintely some good insight from you guys! If it's ain't broke don't fix it! Yeap! The way I see it is that it's a game of patience, if you stick to your routine, stay healthy, eat well, and sleep, it will pay off. So that's what I've been doing, and I've seen growth all over in the last month, most notably a 1/4 inch on my bi's!! But thanks, and I'll just keep to what I'm doing, it's early in the game, so I have time. Thanks.

PLEAS E DONT JUICE BRO,...U WILL REGRET JUICING AT 17...ur test levels are high enough.,....plus u can still grow taller at 17

Juice would be years away bro! And I'm only going that route if I have a build worth building on. I'm not gonna put myself through that shit unless my genetics happen to be good. I have a big rib cage so I'll be able to build on that and my measurements read as follows-
Neck-16.5''
Arms-15''
Chest-42.5''
Waist-35'' (Around the navel)
Quads-23'' ( 3 inches above the knee cap)

I really don't know how those compare to most, but I have a bigger waist from my former eating habits, and I started out with 12 7/8 Bi's, so the work has gone far on those. My quads are developing well, and I squat with my feet about 8'' apart, why? I don't know, but it works for me narrow and it gives me trouble the wider I go. And if you read this before I edited it I mis measured my quads, and changed it.

STOP RIGHT HERE!

30 pounds in a year and a half - your gains are AWESOME! I'm not shitting you bro, your progressing fast.

At 17 you are already on steroids naturally - literally. Attempting to utilize exogenous (those that you swallow or inject) hormones will do nothing but short circuit your natural hormonal drive.

Look, you probably read on here all the time about how so and so gained 30 pounds off of their last cycle. The truth is that that is probably bullshit. That 30 pounds was probably at least 50% water, and the probably lost some of the real lean tissue growth post-cycle anyway.

30 pound of real muscle mass like you have packed on in the last year and a half is more than most of us realistically hope for.

Thanks bro!! I mean really. My concerns have to deal with my strength. I look like I could bench like 3 bills, but in reality I bench no more than 190. But the strength will come later.. I'm sure of it. For now I'll focus on packing the weight on. I can gain weight fairly easily when my diet is firing on all cylinders, as it has been lately. But thanks again bro that's inspiration, now I'm gonna go do leg's! Squats, Front Squats, Leg Extensions, Lunges.... I have trouble driving home follwing that work out!
