Hey Guys. Although this is my first post I have been reading on these forums for about a year now and want to thank you all for all of the good information and advice that I have already recieved from you. I'll give my stats and then give you my question:
Age: 24
Height: 6'2"
B.F.%: 9.4%
Weight: 194lbs.
1st cycle:
Test E: 200mg/wk for ten weeks
Winstrol tabs: 25mg/day ?-week 10( haven't really figured out when to start because of the extreme views of this substance and it's use and timing of use.)
I have been lifting for ten years now of which about six of those years of what you would consider serious. I have to say that I have been very happy with the gains that I have made. However, I have been to the point that I am at right now many times through the years and seem to hit a "ceiling" in my training every time. So I finally decided to do a cycle. through my researching on this board and others I see a lot of people that want to "get huge" or "get shredded". I really spent a lot of time contemplating what exactly my goals were in doing this cycle and it's not a whole lot in either direction. Ideally, in ten weeks:
1.) gain 4-7lbs. muscle, meaning I would weigh approx. 201-204( I am not a math idiot just accounting for extra water retention)
2.) Lose 1-2.5%BF, which at that weight would put me at losing 2-5lbs of BF. and weight right around the same as when I started.
I train 4-6 days a week and run between 12-15miles a week.
This is where I need some advice and criticism(constructive please). Would it be over ambitious or stupid to try too accomplish both of these goals in the same cycle? Am I wasting my time trying? I was thinking that I would push to try and gain 4lbs of muscle over the first 6 weeks and then try to take the remaining time to try and start maintaining the gains and begin losing a bit of body fat. My diet is good as well as my training knowledge although I always can learn more. Under normal(natural) circumstances I would never ask these questions but I just don't know what the average expectations are for someone on a similar cycle with similar background. I can lose fat very easily but have a hard time retaining muscle during that phase which is the primary reason for doing this cycle. Any and all advice would be much appreciated. Oh, and sorry if this post is long winded its just from reading others you guys usually need clarification of things so I tried to be as forthcoming as possible. Thanks in advance
