Its self-limiting and will go away on its own. MD's rarely prescribe or do anything for it unless the growth is extreme. Primarily, analgesics and a compress are suggested for discomfort. Sorry bro, it affects approximately 1 in 4 teens (some estimates are higher), so its pretty common. Trying to aquire anti-e's to treat it yourself is not your best option, as it is typically best to allow your own endocrine system to overcome the problem. I would let it go, unless growth is inordinately large or pain is acute---your MD will guide you if needed.
