Add red meat to bulk diet????

Hey, i'm an ectomorph weighing a measly 150 lbs.. i'm desperate to gain weight.. i'm currently eating 3000 calories a day,and 200 grams of protein half from whole foods and other half from choco milk (yum!!) . When I first started this diet I put on 5 lbs then plateaued. Well I've been searching for the answer and think I might have found it. I've been reading ALOT of great stuff about read meat putting some good weight on people. Well my question is how much red meat?? Does 1lb a day added to my current diet sound alright?? Gonna split it up into four quarter pound cheeseburgers, adding 2000 calories to my current diet for a total of 5000 calories and 320 gms of protein now. Does this sound good, will it work?????? Thanks all in advance, sorry for the long post..
 
kovert2001us ... Im in the same boat.. exactly 150 lbs and trying to bulk also... Im bulking prob at a slower pace than you, not to gain too much fat ..... But yea red meat is excellent for putting on bulk.. However, I would recomend Lean red meat.

Also I would try to get more protein from different sources than half from Choco Milk.. It may taste great but try adding some other sources like tuna, eggs, fish, chicken. Also very important dont forget your healthy fats:p
