Acne - this stuff works.

I`ve bought some Pro Active Solutions 2 months ago when i was in the middle of my last cycle. My back, shoulders, and parts of my face were getting acne pretty bad. On off cycles, I would still get a couple of pimples here and there but nothing serious. I tried every otc product I could get my hands on and nothing worked. From body washes, scrubs, ointments.. nothing.
Proactive is a little pricey but damn well worth every penny. It costs me $40 a month. Within 2 weeks using it twice daily, my skin cleared up like crazy. You have to use it every day. I dont have pimples now, but i still use it everyday to keep from getting them. Im 29yrs old and still get fuckin pimples.. it sucks.

Im starting to sound like a commercial now.. but I cant stress how badass this shit is. Once and awhile i`ll feel a pimple starting to come up, but it goes away before it gets noticable.

so.. just an FYI if anyone is looking for something that really works for acne.
Pricey, but worth it.

Yes i agree it work great....but.....Depending on your skin type you cant use it twice a day or even everyday.

I never get zits or pimples on my face..ill get one now and then on my back. Proactive works so good that it will severly dry your skin out. I can only use it every other day.

my sister uses it..she looks great...she was only on it for a few weeks and her acne cleared up..i say it is worth the price you pay...

seen a lot of friends use it back in high school, seems too work great. Notice it's one of the only "clear your face" infomercials that are still running after years and years.. must be something workin.

I use the Wal Mart brand called Acne Free. It's the same thing and it's the only thing that cleared up my shoulders and back. I don't get acne on my face, but my shoulders and back break out pretty bad when I'm NOT ON AAS! That's the fucked up part.

Ive seen that and wondered it was as effective as proactive...

Good post, K to you, thanks

If you believe in infomercials then go ahead and give them your money and use it after you work out with your abb roller and your Bowflex . LOL
If you want the same ingredients that's in the Proactive for 1/4 the price then go to Wal-Mart and go to the acne isle and get yourself some- Astringent( I get the EQUATE brand) ,Neutrogena Clear Pore 3.5% Benzoil peroxide clear pore cleanser/mask and then get some Neutrogena Clear Pore Treatment its 2% Sycilic Acid. That is the exact 3 things that they have as listed ingredients in proactive. Dont waste your money on Proactive. If it was actually that good do you think they would have to advertise so damn much?

I feel your pain... same boat.

I'm on PCT and clomid is KILLING ME @ the moment. Been using Rosola wash and taking Duricef (both Rx Acne meds) It's helping but not quick enough.

hey gold..what about the "acne free" from walmart from a previous post..

I had a roommate who was using Proactiv and he was a walking infomercial. I was planning to buy some but use it after my cycle (probably during PCT). I have a question though. I'm running Sustanon and have mild bacne but pretty much no facial acne- does anyone actually use this stuff on their back and back of arms? Because those are my problem areas.

My wife is a professional makeup artist for the movie industry and she tells all the talent to use this stuff. She started using this on my shoulders and chest last week and it is already working.

Try tanning bro. That combined with the Acne Free from Walmart will help. Tanning in the sun helps more than the tanning beds. Fortunately I live where the sun is always shining... ;)

Hello everyone.

I didn't really want to order anymore prescription stuff so I read some of the other threads for other remedies here's what I got:

Pantethine Vitamin B-5 165mg tabs

"Tea Tree Oil" soap (from Australia) which contains 2% Oil of Melaleuca alternifolia

I bought both of these on a recent excursion to Vitamin World.

The B-5 really dried my mild acne up- I'm really satisfied with it but I took too much (I read a post where a guy was taking up to 6 grams ed)- I popped about four tabs on day one then about 8 in two divided servings today and it made me feel a little queesy- recommended dosage is 1 tab ed. I'm probably going to take about 4 tabs ed until it goes away completely. The soap I never heard of before but decided to give it a shot- from Vitamin World- pretty affordable in three bar packs. Also using Neutrogena astringent. Oh and also I've been using the sauna for a few minutes after my workouts to sweat out the toxins its really helping alot (gets rid of some excess water also). I feel I'm going to need all these b/c I decided to run my BD Winny 50mg tabs starting tommorow for last four weeks of my Sust cycle- more anabolics in my system prob isn't going to help make my bacne go away! FYI
I'll post on the worthiness of the soap in a week.

Note: I'm also running 20mg IP Nolvadex ed now.

With no bullshit I can say it is that good. I was on Accutane when I was in highschool so i know what its like to have a serious case of that shit. For me, anything with Sycilic Acid has never worked. But thats just me, maybe fine with other people. My suggestion was, if you want to try something that actually works and dont mind the price you pay, then try it. I am on AAS and its worked while on and off. I just use it everyday.

There are soo many sides with accutane its rediculous. Not to mention you are not suppose to sweat or be out in the sun when on it. Kind of hard to hit the gym without a good sweat.

I am currently using Vit B5 powder. The guidance dosage is 5-10 gms per day along with Benzyl Peroxide cream.

They are drying up very nicely indeed. Would recommend B5 high dosage though.
