What is good for preventing acne I heard vitamin A in high dosages and i also heard ALA and I need to prevent it not treat it so accutane is not the answer im looking for..Thanks

The reason you are not getting responses is because statements such as:

"I need to prevent it not treat it so accutane is not the answer im looking for..."

shop that you have not spent much time yourself actually researching this issue.

Use the search function on Elite - there is a TON of info.

i take a high dose of vitamin e (high doses of vitamin a i believe are toxic), use a quality antibacterial soap lever 2000 or dial when i shower and tan atleast twice a week. since i started this regimen i haven't had any problems with zits and i used to get those little annoying bastards on my delts and bis.

You right, it does work! Great hyperlinking. I used to have trouble getting them to work but yours worked just fine. Now tell us what the hell your talking about.

Ingesting high doses of vitamin A is bad. It can destroy red blood cells, make you lose weight, loss of appetite, cause rashes, help your bones waste away, help you lose your hair, is very hard on the liver, and yes, will even dry your skin.

Firstenrgy, you say accutane is a highly concentrated form of vitamin A? Interesting. Do you know what form?

I'm thinking of making my own ret-A with retinol tabs. Problem is the stability, or lack of, with vitamin a. Any ideas on what I should use as the suspending agent?
