Acne cure!

I was having a problem with acne showing up on my scalp, within the hairline, and some on the face and back (i was not using steroids when this was occurring). So, I asked my doctor about it and he prescribed "minicycline." It's a light antibiotic that you take and about 14 days, no acne! I haven't taken it since I started my eq cycle, but I plan on using it again soon. One good thing, is that my doctor told me that I have to have my liver checked every 6 months. So far, my test results have been great. Just thought I'd inform any of you if you wanna go this route.

Minocycline. an antibiotic, is excellent in treating acne. I've researched a lot of medications to treat my acne. Ultimately, I chose Accutane, the most powerful acne medication.

Compared to Accutane, Minocycline is unbelievably inexpensive. I used this medication in the past for a rash related to competitive wrestling. The only issue was sun exposure.

Great info. I have been taking a B5 supplement for about a month and I am very pleased with the results! The company said it would take a month or two. It did. Finally my back is clearing up! Thank God. Just in time for summer! If anyone wants to know the name and site PM me.

I wouldn't risk it with the accutane. too many sides.!

Yes, definitely. There can be a ton of side effects associated with Accutane. My main side effect is dry lips and pretty severe breakouts.

I took it one time when I came off a cycle because I get acne like crazy when I come off, I don't get none when on cycle, weird. anyways, I would get dry lips and I would get a lot of spasms like if I couldn't breath right at night at bed specially when I was fucking my g-friend. man that's sucks I rather stay with mild anti-biotics.

Glad that you mentioned about the sun exposure. You tend to be a little more sensitive to the sun, but your body gets used to it quick. I tan all the time now without it effecting me. It is very mild and no sides like accutane.

I Was On Accutane It Worked Great Although Dry Skin And Lips My Acne Was Cured Ive Been Off It For 2 Years Now And My Acne Is Back Im On Minocycline Anit-biotics But So Far Theyve Had No Effect Although It Hasnt Been 2 Weeks Yet. Hopefully Its Just Taking Its Time And They Will Eventually Work

Gimme a break. The only sides that 95% of users encounter are dry lips and cracked skin...and then clear skin after using a full course of it.

Enjoy it while you can, because antibiotics are hardly a cure for acne. Eventually your bacteria will adjust and create a resistant strain to the mino, and using any amount will be totally ineffective. Derms generally
use antiobiotics to clear the skin for a short amount of time, then
use topicals (which suck) to maintain the clear skin.

I used that stuff as a teenager and had a month of clear skin. Then it all came back.

Well, that maybe true in some instances, but for me, I have been on it for a long time and so far I'm acne free. I guess it differs from person to person.

No it doesn't differ from person to person. Bacteria will create resistance to any
antibiotic you throw at it after a period of time.

Hey, you're the one that called it an acne cure and that is hardly the case.

Very true. I have used and still use minocycline with great success. The only problem is that I have to increase the dosage now or switch to a different antibiotic like doxycycline to get the same effects.

You guys are lucky... that shit never worked for.

I am on accutane right now... I love it. One month in and zit free. Sides are minor... at least for me.
