Acne and safety

Since certain gear shouldnt be used in conjunction with acne medicines. I was curious if anyone knew what types of acne medication can be used with deca and eq. Accutane i heard is a horrible thing to use. But if your able to use it and not hinder any results, then it would sure wokr for me. Any suggestions?

funny dipshit lol... i have extremly good hygene although i dont brush my teeth more than twice i only do it in the morning and SOMETIMES at night.

i would say it depends on how severe your acne is. if it ain't that bad, just forget accutane. take a shit ton of b-5 and sevaral showers (or atleast face-washings) each day, along with some OTC benzoyl peroxide cream to put on at night. if that isn't enough, go to your dermatologist or doctor and get a script for "cleocin" or "clindamycin" gel (the latter is the generic form). this stuff is real gentle on the skin and works wonders if you put it on before you go out. takes the red out bigtime.

but, you may have better ideas. just a thought for you... (its working for me atleast)

thanks alot i appreciate the information. Ill look up the cleocin and check the side effects and shit. You didnt see more acne in the begining use of this product did you?

no man. cleocin should be very side-effect free. i'm relatively certain that it is merely a mild topical antibiotic but it makes a big difference. give it a shot; it works great on my facial and neck acne. i usually just use shit tons of benzoyl peroxide cream on all the other problem spots.

you wouldnt know if my doctor can prescribe it to me instead of a dermotologist do you? I am closer with him and can just even call him on the phone.

i'd bet he could probably prescribe it. i just had an ordinary student-health physician (i'm a student) give me a new script since my derm is 400 miles away...

accutane....hard on the liver and some get hair loss from it too...

well what acne medication are taking? other things i can think of anti-biotics and facial creams....i have heard of several dudes taking anti biotics while on the sauce.....

i'm taking an oral medication called minocycline ed and i use benz-clin (topical). i've never really had that bad of acne, i just take it because i started to get some and my cycle made it worse...now its mostly on my shoulders/back

i neverg et body acne thats why i want to take this becasue i have a feelin while cycling i might get soem since i have some on my face sometimes.. this is just a preventitive caution for me not a solution to a problem
