Accutane causes hairloss

I often get that question from readers who are losing their hair. It's possible but rare. Very high doses of vitamin A in supplements and certain retinoid (vitamin-A-derived) drugs can cause Hair loss, says Jane Higdon of the Linus Pauling Institute, author of the excellent book An Evidence-Based Approach to Vitamins and Minerals. The lowest dose known to cause hair loss: 25,000 IU vitamin A per day for nine months. Current government-scientific guidelines advise limiting vitamin A (retinol) to 10,000 IU daily, unless prescribed. Hair loss usually is related to hormonal changes.
Just found this article. My hairloss could be related to accutane. Cause I stopped my gear usage and no change.

Question: I have been on accutane for almost 2 months, and so far everything has been great. I was wondering if drinking alcohol affect will affect me? I am afraid to drink because, I am afraid that is may hurt me. Could you respond back to me and tell me if it is ok to drink alcohol while on accutane?
Answer: There is no contraindication or warning associated with the ingestion of alcohol and Accutane.

Subjects in the EUROSCAN study were given 300,000 IU/day of vitamin A for one year followed by 150,000 IU/day for the second year. Typical side effects were mucocutaneous ones (dryness, desquamation, itching, bleeding and hair loss).

My wife was put on accutane, 20mg day, then down to 10mg a day because she was sensitive to the sides. Soon after weeks she began to notice more hair coming out after she combed it.
Accutane is comparible to a high dose of Vitamin A. Do a good search and you'll find out. I'm losing my hair. First I thought it was the gear, then then stopped, and no I am not prone to hair loss. I've done numerous cycles with no hair drop.

I just looked at the insert of my "Roaccutane" (French Accutane).
Hairloss (chute de cheveux) is mentionned as one of the many side effects, but only at the beginning of the treatment.
For the ones that understand french :
Effets secondaires On observe fréquemment en début de traitement avec ROACCUTANE : une sécheresse et une irritation de la peau et des muqueuses (oeil, bouche, nez, gorge), et parfois même une aggravation de l'acné. D'autres effets ont été décrits : rougeur, démangeaisons, photosensibilisation (sensibilité anormale de la peau à la lumière ou au soleil), chute de cheveux, transpiration excessive, fatigue, douleurs musculaires et articulaires, troubles de la vue et de l'audition, colite, céphalées (maux de tête), nausées, convulsions. Une intolérance aux lentilles de contact est possible.

My hairloss is occuring after a longer use, not at the beginning as with my wife.Herbiv0re said:
So I'm discontinuing the use of Accutane and my multi vitamins that contain 3500iu of vitamin A.
It also didnt help that I was eating a lot of liver (protein), until I found out that it contains a shit load of vitamin A.

I used accutane on A DECA And test cycle i shed like crazy so i quit everything and about to start test, accutane, and propecia cyCLE, LOL I HEARD ACCUTANE AFFECTS FRONT OF HAIRLINE i'm curious why you can't use propecia with deca
