When ordering bulk powders for oral administration it's usually left up to the user to use one of two options to utilize the product in an accurate dose measured manner. One is disolving in an alcoholic solution like bacardi rum or 151, but there is an inconvenience factor involved with having to tote a bottle of drops with you. The second method provides a more convenient final product, but the process of producing it is costly and time consuming- weighing through expensive electronic microscales, and individual distribution of the appropriate amount in each capsule.
With that being said, I thought of an alternative method that combines a little of the two...
Supplies needed:
-99% isopropyl/ethanol/methanol alcohol (they MUST be at least 99% pure- while two of these are highly toxic for ingestion, it's of no concern as you wont be consuming them)
-Larger volume syringe w/ large needle (18ga would be great)
-00 gelatin capsules
-Cap em Quick encapsulator
-container in which the oral powder is dissolved with the alcohol.
Dissolve the compound in the 99% isopropyl alcohol with a ratio of each compound that produces the equivilant of one desired dose per mililitre. Once dissolved, draw up the solution into the syringe, and distribute 1ml of the alc. into each one of the empty 00 capsule halves held upright by the Cap Em Quick capper. The alcohol must be of high purity because any water content would slow the evaporation process as well as cause the gelatin capsule to decompose. Once all the capsule halves have been filled, set it aside and allow the alcohol to evaporate overnight. 24hrs later, you should find each capsule with a crystaline residue lining each capsule half- then simply put the top caps on and you have the finished product, in an accurately dosed, convenient, and affordable manner.
