Yes Wootoom it must've come out tuesday.
AAP I figure you'd have already reviewed it.
After watching the director's cut, I can honestly say I was impressed by Rob Zombie's ability to justify shock footage by weaving a good enough story around it to back it up. Sure, the vigilante cop theme is played out, but his characters are so original that it doesn't matter. It could've been a lot scarier and more suspenseful, but the real point of this movie was to observe the thought processes and actions of deranged serial killers; and strangely enough, all the graphic footage in the movie fit perfectly and never seemed overdone even though this was the most gruesome, perverse stateside feature film I've ever seen (wanna see what a human body really looks like after it gets hit by a semi?). There's also some laugh out loud one-liners for comic relief, which is needed at some points. I definitely recommend the director's cut edition as it's about as raw as a motion picture can get while still retaining what makes it a movie.
