About to start GH cycle

Ok, so I am about to start a GH cycle of 2 IU's a day to help with some fat loss. Thanks to Makavalli and Indy and some other guys I have gotten my diet straightened out and got on that treadmill to help lose the BF I was getting after some inuries and family issues. This will be my last run thru of any gear as I am gonna give it a rest for awhile...a long while.

I think I have all the info I need, but before I start I want to get as much feedback as possible. Please respond as though I don't know anything about GH and offer up as much advice or suggestions as possible.(who knows I may be way off base on my "knowledge") I want to make sure I am not missing even the simplest thing on this to do it right, or not at all. Some things to consider before replying.

1) I will not be using slin with this.

2) I will be running some var, test and eq cycles halfway thru and at the end.

3) I am using generic GH. (brown tops) and I know it's real NOT fake.

4) If I so experience some sides such as bloat or numbness, what do I do (if anything) or is it just part of it?

5) Is there some typical mistakes guys make with their first run of GH?

6) Any warnings regarding diet? DO I understand that the glycemic index (carb wise) is my best friend?

7) I have seen some info on the internet that suggests GH can unlock some potentially problematic genetic issues. I have only found a VERY small amount of this and no proof. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or have any idea about that possibility?

If you want to loss some fat why don't you just follow your good diet plan that you have and do cardio 2 times a day and add some clenbuterol to your cycle. From the 2 times that I used Growth Hormone and it was real it did not do shit for me that I could of had achieved from regular AAS. I used a dose of 4 iu's a day along with my other AAS for one cycle then on the next cycle I did not use and HGH and I had the same results. I do not think HGH will benifit you unless you can afford to use between 10-20 iu's a day. Other than that it is just a waste of money in my opinion.

4) If I so experience some sides such as bloat or numbness, what do I do (if anything) or is it just part of it? Deal with it, since you are only using 2iu's you shouldn't have to worry about dropping the dose which is the normal thing to do when sides take off on ya.

6) Any warnings regarding diet? DO I understand that the glycemic index (carb wise) is my best friend? No warnings, you know how to diet.

Yeah sure...to answer your question as well as Indy's, here is my thinking.

1) Duration of GH use - either 6 months straight or 3 months on, 1 month off, then another 3 months on all the while running 5 days on, 2 days off. Still trying to decide which. I may just do the 3 months on to see how it works for me first and how I respond "coming off".

2) Regarding gear. I am going to wait a few months at least to see how I do with just the GH, and since I am in pct right now after about 10 weeks of a low dose of test to help get me back from my back and shoulder inury and what not. I was thinking of (if all goes well with the GH) to run a very long cycle of eq, say 20 weeks with 15 of that including test e and cycle 4 weeks on and off and on again of var at 50.

The AS part of the cycle is up in the air as this is more so about GH and how well I respond to it. The fat loss will be nice, but the quality of life is a big factor for me as well. I am experimenting (winks at bluehen) :p

For what its worth...

1. Slin is too dangerous to get into unless you have hopes of competition.. Reguardless, you can still get the desired look without the use of slin. Ive seen many more guys get fat of slin than guys get big and ripped off of it.

2. I would follow what your doing. Longer cycles with bridges in the middle.. The idea of var during your splits is well thought out.. You will be gaining alot of new muscle and HGH alone will not hold that mass...

3. I saw the brown tops.. Badass stuff... My friend just got some, a different color though.. Really good. My arms fall asleep of just 2 iu's so dont go nuts with the dose until you know how u react.. Also, my feet got bigger while i was on. Invest in some flip flops.. LOL

4. I guess 3 answerd 4.. My only sides were fat loss, thicker hair, a freaking girly like glow to my skin. My arms went numb when I slept and my feet went numb when i sat at my desk.. Thats about it..

5. Only mistake I did was not run it long enough...Oh and I thought I was going to explode on 2-3 iu's... In reality I have no use for GH so Ill be discontinuing it soon...

6. Most of the diet issues come into effect when you add slin.. Then you have to worry about the G Index and Glucose levels...

7. As with anything else I think if you are pre-determined to get it, then your going to get it.. I dont think HGH will show anything sooner than what would normally occur...

8.. Its not on the list but I would shoot twice a day.. Even though its only 2iu's I would shoot it Am and Early PM... Thereoetically, you will then get a third dose during your sleep naturally....

I have been on norditropin gh for well over two years straight and it is great stuff. I started at 6 iu then went to 4 iu and finally settled on 2 iu and I have been at that dose ed for the past 2+ years. I have enjoyed the following benfits:

it cured my chronic insomnia when nothing else could and that's why mw doc gave me a script

I have noticed more clean energy and no longer require a cup or three of coffee to "get going"

I have leaned out and gotten more vascular

I have noticed increaded libido, improved skin tone and the few grey hairs that I had have turned dark ( I am 38 years old)

all of my old hockey injuries don't seem to ache as much as they used to

I have a very stressful job and I my mind seems clearer and I am far less irritable

Gh is really great for anti-aging and I will use it for the rest of my life. I also take it after dinner and for the first time since I was a kid, I now sleep like a baby every night. Gh is age dependent and runit for as long as is possible.

I would agree with everything soxfan stated and would add.

That recovery time after playing recreational sports is alot faster.
If you run you'll have alot more stamina.
Soreness from these activities goes away alot faster.
And the last thing is to buy a good set of nail clippers becouse you'll be trimming your nails alot more often.
GH for the rest of my life :)

I know you and I have talked about this offline but if you can swing it, go ahead with the 6 months. 3 months is plenty for cutting, but going the 6 will allow more benefits that HGH actually has to offer. I know you are still a young puppy compared to me, but with that said you are no spring chicken either, so you could benefit from the longer cycle with more than just slimming effects. I'd go for broke, my last 2 gh cycles were a full 6 months each time, only regret, was attempting the higher dosages, not worth the sides since the anabolic effects are still minimal, and SLIN is not an option for me as you know..

hey bro i took the brown top generics at 2iu also and you may get a little swelling of the hands or fingers but i definitely didn't get any pain like c/t syndrome style. I also made sure to get some Glucorrel to run along with it. You've got the gurus around you for advise so don't worry!

So you wouldn't advise he just bump it up to 20iu's / day to make sure he gets some results ??????
 
Wayne what I meant was that I used HGH because I thought I was going to "blow up" in muscle size, you know like sheer muscle.. I wasn't fully educated on the compound..I just took the words of some dumb gym rats who prolly never touched it.. At my dose, i did notice fat loss and a better than GREAT overall feeling.. I honestly looked younger after about 6-7 months.. You look like you went to a spa, but the results are permanent.. the fat loss is no joke. Its a great compound but at my point in life, i dont think i am going to run it again.. Ive realized I can get those results with just a little more effort on my end..
But you will love the results, they dont come overnight but what you notice and feel and beyond words.. you feel like a highschool kid again.. indestructable and always full of energy....
 
No I have never went over 4 iu's a day for 3 months on to seperte cycles on which I did not notice any real difference in gains as it was when I am on AAS. I am just saying the minimal results are not worth the money that you spend on HGH. I have 2 friends that are professional body builders and they do use 10 iu's or more daily and they told me it is a big difference night and day but not every one can afford to use HGH like that so I just stick to the regular AAS.

OK, let me have it and thanks for any help you are able to provide because knowledge is power and I want all the power.

Just some general comments from my experience and info I've gathered:
- HGH is powerful, but has to build up in the system. 30 days. Then you'll start seeing a lot of change.
- I suspect that your body will only use so much ... large dosages are not required. Even 1 iu p/d is going to have a big effect over time.
- Take at least 2 days off per week so your normal output is not shut down. I do MWF; have seen MTWThF with SatSun off.
- HGH accelerates metabolic functions. It will up the impact of test.
- It burns fat all over. Spot reduction is debatable. Just so happens that around the navel under the derma is great injection area. Pinch and inject.
- The next best side for me is heigthened sensory awareness ... eyesight ... hearing ... touch.
- Bloat? Numbness? Not aware of that.
- Watch your carbs? Yes ... Your body is going to better utilize food.

Negatives:
- price ... but you seem to be able to beat that.
- lack of patience ... give it time to work.
- can make everything but your penis grow ... heart ... abs ... bones. However, I beleive this is most possible with extremely heavy daily dosages.

All in all ... I like it.

Yep results are minimal and I have always stated that when used as an "anabolic" compound.

Wayne, Yes it can make your schlong grow, but it's been stated and proven that spot injection is the only way the penis is directly affected for growth. If I remember quickly you are advised against using a slin pin for penial spot injections, a 23g serves this purpose much better.

Newbie, yes 13 is the perfect age to start using hgh, you'll love it and see very dramatic results at that age.

Serious question. How does GH cause bloat? What makes it reatain the water? Just for knowledge. Do the typical gear related issues with bloat like drink a ton of water, low sodium and cardio help with GH or is it a different beast alltogether.
 
This study was on short adolecent children but I think the water and sodium retention reasons would be the same as in adults....

"Department of Pediatrics, Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel.

GH treatment of adult patients with GH deficiency (GHD) or healthy volunteers results in weight gain and fluid and sodium retention. In the present study we have challenged normal short children with dehydration and water load, and evaluated their water and sodium clearance, plasma renin activity (PRA) and aldosterone over 4 weeks of GH administration. Eleven prepubertal short normal children, aged 4-9 years, were the subjects of this study. Recombinant GH was administered daily at a dose of 2.5 units/m2. Dehydration and water load experiments were conducted before GH (day 0) and on days 3, 7 or 28 of GH. An initial 15-hour fast ended with a 3-hour urine collection. A tap-water load of 800 ml/m2 was given orally. Urinary volumes were followed hourly for 3 h, as were urinary and serum creatinine, Na, K, aldosterone, plasma osmolality and PRA. Before GH therapy the subjects excreted within 2 h a mean 42% and within 3 h a mean 65% of the load. After 3 days of GH therapy the same children retained water significantly and excreted only 22 (p < 0.02) and 45% (p < 0.05) of the load volume, respectively. It is a different beast altogether. The bloat is temporary that it generally only lasts a few weeks and the majority of the water is held in tendons and ligiments vs. in the muslce cells with AAS. This extra water in the tendons is what promotes the carpal tunnel like feelings and numbing sensations as it can put pressure on the nervers in the joints. It's not excessive bloat like with test for example where you will bloat up all over and even raise your bp, nothing that bad, but many do bloat all over first few weeks, then by end of month one, it's usually gone, or at least 90% of it is, then when you end your gh cycle, the rest leaves immediately.

Good info.

This is where patience comes in.

I'm over 90 days and have no intentions of stopping. HGH has more value to me than just growing some extra muscle. It has made some very positive changes to my overall health as confirmed by the "way I feel" and my blood testing analysis.

Agreed, if you can afford it, the longer you stay on, the more benefits you're realize, even a year cycle the anabolic gains are nothing exciting, but everything else outweighs that by far in my book, especially the "good feeling" you get, just an overall more positive outlook on life.
 
So does the inject schedule really come down to "as long as you take it it will work" kind of thing? I see so many different schedules with 5 on 2 off, EOD, 2 days on 1 off, etc, etc. They all seem to be doing the same thing which is to keep the bodies natural GH production from going dormant so to speak correct? SO in the end, does it really matter what schedule you are on? It seems to be like oral dosing as far as weather you take it all at one or thruout the day, it will still work.

SO in the end, does it really matter what schedule you are on? It seems to be like oral dosing as far as weather you take it all at one or thruout the day, it will still work.


Yea sort of on the oral thing but I think the goal should be a little more focused and precise. When we talk of getting blood levels consistent on gear it's important, but talking HGH I think it should be taken much more seriously from standpoint of keeping level. That's why I suggest a shot first thing in the morning upon rising, then another late after noon, say no later than 3pm, then you can benefit from your bodies natural "shot" it's going to give you when you hit REM sleep that night. This gives you the all around the clock consistent HGH levels, and still allows for that nighttime natty shot which means your hypothalmus is still going to work for you. Now in order to keep Mr. Hypothalamus from getting "lazy" in it's production, is where the 5on 2off comes from.

All the different schedules you see were actually created primarily for cost savings, even doctors went on these schedules based on the negative feedback from insurance companies, as HGH is so expensive. So while it is not mandatory to take time off, if you can afford it, you will benefit more from doing 7 days a week. It's continued on for so long cause the secondary effect, which is positive, is that it helps combat getting Mr.Hypo going lazy.

The foremost author and speaker in HGH therapy will never tell you to take a day off of it during your cycle. He also stated that he has had his patients run up to 3 years, 7 days a week, and natural production went immediately back to 100% after stopping the cycle

yea I just read another one of his books last summer. he is president of some anti-aging group and he travels the world speaking on hgh. He has patients that have been on since the 80's and they show up at some of his speeches and they talk about their sexlife in their 80's and stuff like that, really impressive stuff. I will try and dig that last book out and post the author's name.

I have been on for over two years and I have never taken any time off. My doc is very well informed and he told me that there is no reason to go 5 on and 2 off so I will continue to use it everyday for the rest of my life. Gh is close to being the fountain of youth for us older guys and gals! :p

Ronald Klatz is his name. Now keep in mind his writings are specific to HGH therapy for anti-aging. While there are specifics on lean body mass increases, adipose tissue declines, natural test levels rising, and all those amazing affects that HGH can produce, the tests are done on men and women middle aged to senior. There are some tests and studies that he has done for the use on children with issues that require this type of therapy, but NONE are done truly from a sports or body building perspective. There are also some real cases where they used HGH to expedite recovery in critically injured patients, such as burn victims, where they adminsiter up to 20iu's/day to promote healing and growth of new tissue, as well as decrease scarring.
 
This is a great thread. I have been kicking around the idea of doing a 6 monther at 2 i.u. per day, but thought the dosage was way too low to consider. Now, after reading everyone's input, it seems like I had the right dosage after all.
Generic G.H. is putting the possibility within everyone's reach. It's definitely cheaper than doing a 1g/wk. Primo cycle with Schering amps. :)

You got that right, I got my generic's and the price was unreal, a fraction of the jin's and it appears to be much purer as I see results much quicker, and from lower dosages.
