AAS and urinalysis for fire dep't

What are the chances that they test for AAS in a pre-employment drug screen? I understand it's much pricier, but does that mean public safety jobs generally don't bother screening for AAS? Anybody had any experience w/ this? Thanks guys, I appreciate any input.

Depends on the dept. Someone here in Pho-town wanted to test FD guys for any drugs about 20 yrs ago. The chief fought it all the way to supreme court and won. So they have no worries to this day. However, surrounding cities test for rec drugs but don't test for AS unless you've been ratted out by another FF, look like Dorian, or bite your girlfriends nipples off, etc-which happens every year and 3-4 guys get canned.

i highly doubt that they will. My buddy is a fireman and they only do a 5 panel test. marijuana,coke,amphet,pcp,opiates
