AAS and Alopecia

younesom

New member
I know AAS can cause hair loss in some individuals. In my case I a more interested in Alopecia ( a patch of no hair), on my neck. Has anyone experienced this?

I only noticed it after my last cycle ( I did use Primo and Proviron)

Any ideas?

I would appreciate any suggestions or experiences.

I have went to a dermatologist, and she informed me that it is an autoimmune response against the hair follicles and prescribed me cream. Just curious if this is not true and the real reason being the Primo and Proviron in particular. I know Alopecia is hair loss, but what I have is kind of different. I just have one spot on my neck ( circular), that will not grow hair.

Thanks

Alopecia is genetic I'm pretty sure anabolics cannot effect that, although it may excite it if you already have it. AAS typically only increase hair loss in those genetically prone to it.

Hair loss does not run in my family, but it might be a coincidence that it appeared after my last cycle. Just absolutely weird, I wake up one day and notice it. I have dark hair so even when I shave you can still notice the circle on my neck.

if it is a small area and not symmetrical or have any pattern and it just sprung up in a matter of days its probably alopecia areata. I get it once every 5 yrs and the best reason I've found for it is hat its triggered after goin through significant stress. I have a dime size spot on the back of my head that was smooth as a baby's ass but now its 1/2 way filled back in. If it is this and its a small spot be thankfull... google it... some people get patches the size ur hand. some people go alopecia totalis... complete hair loss. it almost always grows back. pm me if u think its this and ill give u some more info.
