[plagarizing net statement] Cause you need better/more carbs broly. Unless of course you are eating 8 pieces of whole grain wheat toast. [/plagarizing net statement]

yeah get some oats or rice or something in there. How about a shake of oats/protein/milk/splenda. put it in the blender on "ice crush" or the highest setting and the oats will be unnoticed.

ive been eating them ever since i saw ronnie coleman eating them on his DVD, i like them a lot

they do make me hee haw tho

instead of using milk with his gritz, ronnie uses winny

Shit i could never eat just a shake and toast. Mine's 8 whites 1 whole egg and 1 1/4 c oats on work out days.

I used to eat grits all the time since i was like 3 years old but i got burnt out on them. Not the reg. ones, the Instant Butter flavored ones from Quaker.

Unless you are getting your protein shake straight (?) from the source (cawk), it is not going to be enough after your body has been fasting all night.

Try some real food for protein. Turkey sausage has about 20g of protein per 4 links with low fat. You can supplement another 30g of protein powder if you need to.

If you want to stick with the shake as your sole source of protein, add some flax seed oil to slow the absorbtion down. Fruit is just a nice way to say "pretty packaged sugar" so those carbs don't count (especially if you are trying to stay lean). Add in one serving of grits and a wheat bagel and you are at about 45-50g of good carbs.

But if you use shakes as your sole protein source in the morning, make sure you get some real food in you within three hours.
