military doesnt test for AAS unless the have suspicion that you are using

why would they test you for steroid use is it mixed in with another test like a drug test err? otherwise i wouldnt think they would want to spend the money....

I only have a secret clearance, but I have been on while being tested. They only test for rec drugs unless you give them a reason to test you for steroids.

if they suspect you are using steroids , they have to send you to medical and have them look you over and if they also think you are using then they will administor the olympic steroid drug test

I had Top Secret, but anyway, the Military doesn't test for roids unless they suspect. Basically what the second guy said. They only test for drugs currently.... I was Security Forces in the AF and was in investigations. So from first hand. They don't test for roids on Security clearance checks.

There's a provision in the Patriot Act that excludes any 'restricted persons' from having access to regulated items such as military hardware, military-grade encryption or supercomputers. One of the conditions that can make you restricted is any use of any illegal drug (note that a conviction isn't required, just use). Violations can result in jail for the individual and big penalties for the company they work for. Because of this, a lot of companies that work with these kind of technologies have started making employees fill out a questionaire under penalty of perjury (see this example http://web.mit.edu/environment/pdf/Questionnaire.pdf) or requiring periodic drug testing.

i have doe clearance, but not top secret (no area 51 access) but i have been tested for the doe / test site, and they do not test for gear unless they have a reason to suspect.. you should be golden.

dont test for AAS too expensive to test, mostly for the rec and prescrition drugs ie meth, coke, opiates, htg.I was never tested
