A tip to help with depression

Being affected with it for my whole life, I have learned some coping stategies and here's one of the best. Notice that when you are depressed, you tend to slouch. Straighten up as if you have strings attached to you like a puppet. Take deep breaths and hold your good posture. It is almost impossible to feel bad while doing this. Mostly just focus on your posture and do not allow yourself to slouch, see if it makes a difference next time.
 
Damn, I wish I would have read this 20 minutes ago when I was washing down two bottles of klonopin with a jar of captain morgan.

Years ago, I read a very good book on Health and Wellness, wish I could remember the title. Some of the proven techiques were simple and I have employed them often because they work. Wish I could remember the title to the book. If I catch myself slouching, and I always do when I'm feeling down, I will immediately straighten up, contol my breathing and refuse to feel bad. Doesn't work in catastrophic situations, but luckily few things are as bad as we make them out to be. Now, if I can only learn how to have more patience and control my temper when the computer is acting up and I make typing mistakes and such. Arrrggghhh!!
 
When I'm depressed I come here and read how pathetic you bitches are. Then, I feel like I'm on cloud nine.

Seriously, smile. Sometimes I have to force myself to do it. But, after awhile I forget and I'm happy.
