A Theoretical Question, Just Curious.

Lets say one were to lose some mucle gained during a cycle while still on cycle for various reasons (stress, diet, sleep, cutting, etc.). Also lets say that after, the cycle ends with a proper PCT. Would muscle memory kick in after the cycle and would the individual be able to regain some of that muscle (of course not as fast as he would have regained while being on) gradually but surely naturally over the course of a few months? Im very interested in the answer to this. Peace.

If you're not too high over your genetic limit, then I'd say yes it's possible. You won't regain all of it of course, but some I think you can. I know when I started lifting, I couldn't get over 130lbs. Then, after eventually hitting the juice, I got up to 205lbs last year. I took a 5-week break from training and eating right earlier this past summer, dropped down to 169lbs. Without gear, I got back up to 180lbs without much, if any, fat gain. To get to 200+ again, I'll have to hit some decently heavy gear again, but for just a small increase over my previous genetic limit, I'd say muscle memory has worked well for me.

How do you know it is actual muscle mass loss and not fluid retention that has been shed?

Well Im just speaking hypothetically here, you know, actual decrease in muscle measurements, decent strength loss, and less importantly, weight scale drop. And suppose, one was not anywhere near their genetic limit, is it more likely Lowest commented above? I mean, actual muscle earned is muscle earned right? And Im talking in the range of 7-10 lbs here, not like 20 plus pounds. I dont supposse the body can differentiate from gaining lbm while on AAS as oppossed to doing it naturally. Bump.

I think one of the best ways to curb unwanted weight loss is to over shoot your goal. then when all the water retention has left and your not eating as much as you were, your still at your goal. I notice when I come off I cant eat jack shit compared to what I can eat when I'm on.

Bump.

If you weren't at your limit, then most likely yes, it'd be easier to gain back to it without gear. Your body remembers what being that size was, and since it has the capability to be that size without gear, you can get back there faster. If you're over your limit though, much harder, less likely. I'm over my limit, but I believe due to IGF-1 and trenbolone-induced hyperplasia that I have actually raised my previous limit to a higher point than it started.

No rip intended bro, but I am not sure you know what you are talking about here. Muscle is not just muslce when on a cycle, 85% of muscle is water, if you are retaining water you will have greater measurements and an increase in body weight.

I am not sure if your diet or some other things has gone wrong. You leave too many variables for us to guess (hypothetically of course, no one on this cite does steroids!)
