What would be your reaction if a muslim came up to you in the street and started talking to you?...Be honest.

I'd be okay with it, i don't hate muslims, just Bin Ladin, the Taliban, and bin laden's thugs. Oh forgot one, those bastards who keep trying to drive up the price of oil, bastards.
 
I can honestly say I'd just talk with him. It all depends on what this person has to say. But I'm sure that's not how you wanted this thread to be taken.

You got that right. I'm 30 years old and I have my own network and I don't need anybody else. If he said sir could you give me directions I would give them, but if he just wanted to create conversations then he needs to go somewhere else, because I'm not interested.
 
My reaction would be the same as it was today at the gym.
I would talk to them, and treat them with the same respect
I treat everyone with.

People need to realize that we are all the same. We might
be a different race, or religion, or nationality, but deep
down we're the same.

We all want to do our best for ourselves and our families.
Muslims want the same happiness, and security that you

My reason for creating this thread is simply to see who the ignorant, prejudiced and hateful people are.

So far, these people are MoneyBags, Checkmatebloated and Raghead Remover (also known as?).

Don't you think that they realize that? They probably could see right through this little game and decided to post things like "I would punch him" on purpose. That way they could watch you go on a rant about how ignorant and hateful they are.

i think the first thing i would do is unzip my fly and pull just my testicles out into the open air because i find it really refreshing. if this muslim man began speaking to me i would probably just sit there and listen, nodding my head every so often, while whittling a statue of a man in a turban fellating a pig of some sort out of a small block of cherry wood.

I work in a business arena that requires me to put on many different faces throughout the day. Because I type on this board throughout the day also it tends to carry over onto the board. The only time this place really gets my true self is when I post at a friend of mines house sometimes on Friday and Saturday nights.
I like to pick at people a great deal also. It always interest me when people are so quick to call somebody stupid or even and idiot. Hope that helps explain it just a little, I know it is still not that clear.

No..what theyve said in this thread is pretty much in keeping what they've said before. I want these people to expose theselves, so I can know who they are when i talk to them. Also, so that everyone else can make their own mind about them.

Personally i think its sick. I was thinking the other day about what these people would do if a muslim woman with her children walked past them on the street. Its sad.
 
I think everyone is prejudiced. I am no exception. It's simply a matter of how prejudiced you are. That being said, I'd like to think I'd treat a muslim in the same way I'd like to be treated. But I'm only human. I'd have a harder time doing that than I would have prior to 9/11.

very true gymtime. Ive made racist comments in the past, but then i think about what ive said and almost immediately, i think about how hurt that person would feel if they knew what i'd just said or thought.

maybe people like moneybags dont think or maybe tehy just dont care. My guess is the latter - thats what i find disturbing, just like they find the terrorists and their acts disturbing.

i second that. i busted my arm and it was put back into place by a doctor who is a muslim. i had doctors and girlfriends of different ethnic backrounds and the fact that they are of different backrounds doesn't make them a bad person.


I saw an old movie once titled Zerbo the Greek. In the movie the Englishman and Zerbo the Greek are talking somewhere along these lines.

It would depend on what they started saying. Primarily I'm a little careful around the guys because I've been followed around grocery stores by certain men that I preferred to ditch in the produce section. (What the hell is it about being blonde???)

Otherwise, like with any other person, whatever color and whatever type - I will be friendly but very aware of the situation.
