A Quote That Explains Relationships...

Feels like I am always having to be the damn gardner, why wont somebody just take care of me? What did I ever do wrong? Who makes these damn rules?

However, I still disagree with the statement. I think a person must be both in order for the relationship to explain. You have to give and take, not one or the other.

It is about knowing what you want with your life and then finding the right person that will fit into your life.

Think about it this way. You have been the gardener because you went after a girl that needed someone to support her while she went through something. Once you know what direction you are going, let people know it when you meet them (subtly) and the pieces will fall into place.

Thats not it. This is the way all my relationships seem to be at the moment.

Maybe a weed garden LOL.

this is what makes a relationship go sour, when someone is giving and the other is just taking, then that person will get sick of it, and the relationships ends.

Of course it is not a black & white statement.

What is really meant by that quote is that one has to be supportive while the other tries to reach certain goals that requires sacrefice.

Basically a woman/man that will play Elanore Roosavelt to their FDR.

I understand the concept of one helping the other grow. I just don't think life is as simple as that. There are not many people like Eleanor Roosevelt left.

Life is like a master and a cat.

Someone needs to be the cat...

and the other needs to be the "master" who will pamper it, buy it things, play with it, tell it how beautiful it is, keep it warm and put up with it when it scratches back.

oh and run out and search and try to find it when it leaves the house ...

-= nav =-

I like the garden metaphor better...hehe

Seriously, the cat metaphor basically fits women because just like cats, they only come around and show love when they want something.

It is as simple as that. If you do not fit together as a garden and a gardener, then it simply will not work.

Interesting..

I prefer to look at it as ... if you are a pathetic ass-licking tree-troll, you'll never have a woman's respect... and she will make you trim flowers in her garden while she boasts to all her friends how she whips your punk ass into shape.
