A Question About My Edit Options?

How do I get the little option below my avatar to say that I am online? I have a cable modem and even when I am online it says im offline. I hope this makes scence.

Go to edit options and your first choice
should be invisable mode, just check no,
and you should be set.

In your edit options is you Invisible mode set to 'Yes', if so try setting it to 'No'. That option lets the viewer see if your logged on in the members logged on at the start of the discussion boards.
But I'm not entirely sure if it effects your online/offline below your avatar.
