did anyone download the acoustic set? what did you think?

did you notice the lyrics for 'the hollow' are different?

there is also an acoustic version of orestes, which is really nice, but it was not recorded at the set with the rest of them. it was originally a demo or something like that.

yup sounded great.......i like difference in intonation can give it a totally different emotional feel. The last chorus where he repeats it twice the first time is slow and consistent with the way he sings it throughout the song and then he repeats but more emotionally charged and the intonation is the same as in the recorded version its really awesome actually.

no, tapeworm is definately not a rumor. i saw pictures of them (maynard, reznor, and lohner) in the studio and a set list. this was in the summer though, so who knows what happens. you know how these people are...they are never in a hurry when it comes to putting something out.

I read a few articles last summer saying they were finishing up, so I thought it should've been out by now. I haven't heard any news of the project since... well, August. These guys are extreme perfectionists though, especially Trent so it may be years until everything is to his satisfaction.

I'm glad to hear Maynard is finally getting back into the studio. From what I heard, the music for the album is already done, Maynard just needs to add some vocals.
