A Hurting Thing!

Thursday morning, my wife had foot surgery to both feet. I have known my wife for 21 years and she has always had foot pain in both feet due to Bunions. I recently convinced her to do something about it.

Here's a before and after pic of her feet......

Notice the knot on her big toe (knuckle) joint....ouch!

This is her feet after surgery. She has an appointment Monday to have them redressed. She has steel pins that run through her big toes and they are sticking out of the skin. The pins will be removed in a few weeks. She is out of work for 8 weeks and won't return until the first of the year. This is a very painful process!

A lot of women foot problems occur because of the shoes they wear. My wife's are mostly genetic. Her mother had the same problem. The physical therapist had her walking within one hour of surgery.

This puts a whole new light on household chores for me. I'm slowly being domesticated.:)

Wish her well.

What is it HM, bone build up, calcium?

They say dancers get them alot.

Thanks vg. :)

It's actually the bone from the bottom of her foot that has turned sideways and outwards over the years. That knot was actually sawed off and the bone was turned under and pins inserted to set it....kind of like a bad broken bone being reset. After about ten days to two weeks the pins will be taken out and left to heal naturally on their own. Very painful to look at but the end result will be no more pain ever. Once corrected it will not reoccur. She is a teacher (19 years teaching) and the pain had become too much.

My youngest daughter (6 years old) said she would cook. She said she could cook two things. Peanut butter sandwinches and peanut butt & jelly sandwinches. :FRlol: We are looking forward to Thanksgiving Day dinner at my parents house!

wheres the tit pics?

I am getting pretty upset that everyone is ignoring my post/request.
This could spell trouble, with a capital T.

I can hardly wait to get home and bust out the lotion!!!

Day 3

The doctor told her if she could make it through the 3rd day things would start getting better. Today has really been a bad day so far. I just got her out of bed and got her hair washed and the pain is beginning to mount. She said that it hasn't hurt this bad so far. I guess the doctor was right. She is hanging in there and loading up on the Percocets. I told her to save some for me!;)
