A google search challenge...

Okay, spatts and I have tried to find the lyrics for They Came In, by the Butthole Surfers, and have been unsuccessful.

So...I want to see if anyone else out there can find 'em.

Karma to the first person that posts the lyrics or a link.

When I was in Boston I had that CD - the weird revolution or whatever it was (last song on it was They Came In) and it was on the Mission Impossible soundtrack - I thought it was an instrumental - but maybe not.

It was on top of my bookshelf in Boston, but since moving here, I have no clue where it is, and I would assume I probably just threw it out - at least the liner notes for sure.

They camein the clothes that I'm in and
Threw the phone at my wall
They were strangers
They drive in the car that I'm in and
You never see their face at all
They were strangers
They drive in the car that I'm in and
You never see their face at all
They know my fears and cry in my tears
Through a face without an eye at all
They came in the phone that I'm in and
Threw the face on my wall
Know my tears and cry in my fears
Through an eye without a face at all
Face at all... Face at all... Face at all...
Face at all... Face at all...
They came in the phone that I'm in and
Threw the face on my wall
Know my fears and cry in my tears
Through a face without a eye at all
Asshhh...

If you click on the link there, it will take you to the Google page.
Due to the formatting of the URL, it will also contain the search words lightlighted and they show up in the query box the way I formatted them.

I used the name of the song in quotes so as to force it to use that chain of words together.
Then I used "Butthole Surfers" on the side of that.

I then went to the Groups section - which scans the newsgroups.

I think I tried about 15 different clicks and maybe adjusted the query a bit over those tries.

See, I tried that exact query, but I didn't do the newsgroup search.

99 times out of 100, a web search works. This was the first one that didn't turn anything up.
