Interesting. Given this news, would you ban it? I still wouldn't (because I believe in choice and that a person has the choice to die if they want), but I could see this change some people's minds. It's 'somewhat' simpler to kill yourself via a gun vs a knife or pills.

Absolutely, but the gun makes it quick and easy. It 'might' make people think twice if they have to use some other means. Although this might seem confusing on a pure logical level, I can't think of a second reason why the handgun suicide is so high.

i call it population control. if you're crzy enough to kill yourself, please hurry and do it before you snap and kill someone else.

You don't need a handgun to kill yourself. A 12 gauge slug does it up right good. Many people, women in particular, choose pills because it's painless and doesn't leave a big bloody mess of the body.

BS....it's much easier to die via pills. You can get OxyContin on some shady street corner in just about every town in North America. Wash a few 80mg Oxys down with a few stiff drinks and it'd be peaceful and painless death.

You mean 12 shots and a 120 mph run on your bike isn't easy? It would be so fun you might not want to kill yourself. You won't last long do that by the way. LOL.
