A couple Var Questions

Hey,

Before I even start getting into questions I just wanted to say that I love message boards, I use them for anything that I have interest in and I hate to be one of those guys who signs up to just post one question. I should say that I've done my research, I've read many many other forums including posts on this forum dating back to 2001 and I signed up here cuz everyone seems extremely helpful and you don't see any patronizing that goes on in a lot of other boards when a new guy asks a question.

Anyway, I'm 25 years old. 210lbs 5'11 and prob 15-18% BF. I've been doing a lot of research on Anavar and I have decided that I think the best fit for me would be a Var only cycle. I know it's expensive but I like how safe it is, how it doesn't affect joints and has shown some anabolic affects (abdominal and visceral fat loss) in studies. I'm not really looking to get huge or put on tons of size, I just want to add a couple more lbs of lean muscle and maybe burn the stubborn fat off. I've been reading and it seems like a 50mg per day dose is about normal.

First, even though it's been asked thousands of times - what do you guys think my planned usage/expected gains?

Depends on your diet and training. Their is know real answer to your question. Eat the cals and push hard and you will get much stronger. Lower your cals, push hard add cardio and you'll get more tone/ vascular and hard. If diet and training is on point their is no reason why you can't gain 10pounds or so while dropping little fat . If u looking to get leaner great but u won't grow without the cals.
 
Yea - I mean Ive been very diet/workout conciouss for about 2-3 years now. I'm currently following Ultimate Diet 2.0 by lyle mcdonald and I'm in decent shape I just think it comes down to me just not being satisfied yet and wanting to break through some, what i've come to think, are genetic barriers that are just in the way.

I know I've read a lot of people who have said that anavar alone won't produce significant results, I guess what I'm trying to get at is how do you define "sifnificant". Im sure most poeple here are in insane shape and at the competitive level but I really just want to drop 4-5% body fat and add a little bit of lean muscle that will last.
 
To give you an idea of what anavar can do. I have lost 20 lbs of fat and gained 6 lbs of muscle. I'm middle age and not a real athelete like you guys here. To me Anavar is great for maintaining muscle while you lose weight. My cycle was sustanon 250 per week and 80 mg a day of var.
 
the base of any first cycle shpould be test!

I hav to agree with eclen, maybe add the anavar to this but don't do it alone, you'll be dissapointed, not to say you won't get ANY gains, but they won't be significant enough to justify the amount of $$ you'll spend on it, plus for an Anavar only cycle you'll need a helluva lot more than 50mg ED, that I don't recommend you do alone, regardless of what they say Oxandrolone will suppress you at that dosage and when you get off cycle....
 
I am now on a timeout because I did not read the rules and asked about pricing of AAS.
