A complex morality question

This is a question raised in a book called "CODE OF THE SAMURAI." I adapted it to fit in our times.

Suppose you are traveling with an acquaintance who has a large sum of money on him, and he wants to leave it at your house until returning. Now during the trip he dies from something, nothing that you did caused his death. No one else knows that he left the money at your house or that you have it.

What do you do with the money?

What if he wasn't a close friend, just an acquaintance?

What if he had nobody to leave the money to?

What if you were in dire straits and could really use the money?

I would hold onto the money for awhile...keeping quiet...if nothing came up on the contrary, I would keep it....

This isn't really a morality question...if the guy was dead, had no next of kin, and no one knew he was carrying it...who would you turn it into if you even wanted to?

Ok, to make the morality question harder: what if the dead man's cause or purpose you found offensive? And there are degrees of offensiveness too...

I would use of it what I needed to pay for my next cycle (read: drug addict) then give the rest to myself to celebrate 'Happy Tuesday' or whatever day it happened to be on that day.

If he had next of kin, and they were attractive, I would have sex with them, then give them a portion of what's left and go looking for other attractive next of kin's to have sex with, not necessarily his next of kin, but next of kin to someone, as long as they were attractive and would have sex with me. I would however not give any of the money to the latter aforementioned next of kin, as that would just be silly.

I am now going to lay down, I have obviously mixed up med bottles AGAIN. The real chef will be back with you after blood levels normalize.
