80's cartoons...

Your Duckula link didn't work, but I LOVED that goofy, vegetarian bastard! I thought about him the other night when I saw that Barnes & Noble had a few seasons of "Danger Mouse" available for purchase on DVD. Both Duckula and Danger Mouse were products of Cosgrove Hall, if I'm not mistaken.

I watched Spiderman, Superfriends, Dungeons and Dragons, GI Joe, Transformers, thundarr the barbarian, and He Man.

I remember duckula, but can't think of what the hell the dinosaucers were? Were that space traveling dinosaurs that talked and had weapons?

I wonder if there is a way to get dvd's of the old cartoons for my daughter. I'd love to get cartoons like the snorks, smurfs, etc for her

Now one question that was raised with some buddies of mine back in college was did anyone else see the episodes(s) of the Ghostbusters cartoon featuring the Boogey Man and was anyone else totally freaked out by it?

We agreed that it was one of the scariest god damned things we every saw on a Saturday morning cartoon.

hmmm the link still works for me!? some of our old school cartoons were pretty scary. They wouldn't dare show a cartoon these days with a pentagram in it that's for a damn sure. the dinosaucers comment pretty much summed it up. dinosaurs from the future with weapons, from what i remember it was amusing. Danger mouse fucking ruled!!! do you guys remember david the gnome??? that little fucker used to scare me just for the fact he was like 3000 years old and he carried a knife.

Wonder twin powers, activate!

But seriously, I was from the Josie and the Pussycats, Dick Dastardly and Underdog era.

Smurfette is a little haggard these days.

We just bought the Smurfs and the Wuzzles for our daughter's 1st birthday coming up in a couple weeks.

Thanks for making this thread as it reminded us that we wanted to start buying these cartoons for her.

yeah inspector gadget was pretty cool. penny was a whore though! i have a 3 year old nephew so besides spongebob and a few other cartoons we watch together the rest suck major ass!!!! hands down 80's cartoons were the fucking shit. watching them now they're waaaaaaaaaaay outdated. makes me feel old but bad ass none the less. fragal rock was ok i guess i just like those little tiny workers that would build shit. it's funny in most of the 80's cartoons you can sense racism!! mupet babies. a black dog (ralph) with a deep ass voice and he was always in trouble... classic
