What were you listening to in the 80ies ?

new order, ministry, depeche mode, bad brains, johnny rotten, human league, front 242, and other geigh shit.

XTC, REM, Husker Du, The Replacements, The Pixies (late '80s...), Blood Oranges, The dBs (no relation... :)), Glass Eye, Lou Reed's "New York" album was fucking brilliant. Radio in the '80s was a vast wasteland (kind of like today...), but I'd always turn it up a little if Inxs or Hall & Oates came on.

New wave of British heavy metal: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc....
Thrash: Slayer, Metallica, Testament, Megadeth, Overkill, Anthrax

Probably Sesame Street songs and stuff.

As of now though, Eighties music is my favorite ... Metallica, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne (w. Randy Rhoads), the list goes on ....

The Clash, Joy Division, Social Distortion, Oingo Boingo, The Cult, Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Romeo Void, The Cure, Tears for Fears to name a few.

Hell yeah!

Oh, I found an album by WASP called ballads. Damn that brought me back. I remember listening to sleeping in the fire, cries in the night and other great WASP tunes when everyone else was listening to Bon Jovi, hehe.

Blackie Lawless had quite the voice.

WASp was one of my favorites back then. I was actually at the show that was taped for the CD "Live in the Raw". Blackie had a new WASP CD comin out called "The Neon God" part one is out next month and part two is out at the end of summer. Also another good band to try and find is called "Animal" which has Randy Piper (original WASP guitarist and Chris Holmes (other original Wasp guitarist) that left Wasp last year.

Going to look for them right away. Thanks for the tip :)

Do you by any chance have the name of their album?

I bought the first WASP album off the stands back in the day. Liked 'em ever since.

Looking forward to "The Neon God". I loved "The Crimson Idol".

I was too young to have a say in it, so I probably listened to whatever my parents listened to.
