Based on the new 6 Series, the new M6 shares its drivetrain with the recently introduced M5. The new V-10 produces 500 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. Engineered to rev with a redline of 8,250, this new engine offers 100 horsepower per liter of displacement. Pure race-car territory.

I don't like the way the trunk looks though.

Interaction of the V10 power unit and seven-speed SMG gives the driver of the BMW M6 Coupe driving pleasure of the highest caliber: Acceleration from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) comes in 4.6 seconds and the M6 reaches 200 km/h or 124 mph in just about 14 seconds. Then, at a speed of 250 km/h or 155 mph, the electronic speed governor ends the car’s irresistible surge of power, while the speedometer gives you an idea where the engine would take you without such electronic speed control: the speedometer goes all the way to 330 km/h or 205 mph.

That's scarey fast. I think most cars go 0-60mph in about 14 seconds.

v10 with the Gas prices here I dont think so.

If you are going to kick out 80-150K+ for a car, then surely you can afford the gas. People who will drive these cars will probably sport a platinum Rolex on their wrist too.
