I had heard a lot of people say that they liked it - I just watched the Ford thing and thought the whole show was going to be like that.

I don't like to watch much TV, so I likely won't make it through this one.

This was the first time I had watched it. I recall that many people liked the series last season, so I wanted to check it out.

It is set in real time over the period of one day, so 1 hour per show for 24 shows.

This season it seems that he has 24 hours to stop the release of a biological weapon. Actually, chances are he has about 17 hours, with the remaining hours dedicated to Keifer kickin ass.

Been watching it since Season 1. They always surprise me. Well, almost always.

I got the feeling that Jack had done some undercover work to get the latin dude and got hooked on something while he was undercover.

I can predict what will happen:

Jack will get infected by the virus from using the drugs that teenager was supposed to distribute that was infected.

So, the race against time will be not only to stop the spread of the virus but to cure himself.

I was thinking along similar lines.

Did you catch the comment by the virus expert early on? She made a point of saying that there was a "24" hour timeline from initial infection to death.

Coincidence? Naaaah.

I caught that, too. I'm betting someone else "has" it already so we can have the added tension of someone infected and possibly already infecting others.

Jack getting it is a good idea. Would be a good twist since Palmer could then save Jack's life for a change (you just know the vaccine will come from him).

Jack being "ill" smacks (ack, pun not intended but funny now that I see it) of George Mason last year.

Of course, Jack can't die. I mean, he's already undead as it is (died last year).
