I'm 2.5 weeks into a sust/eq/winny cycle running 500wk sust/600wk eq and 50ed winny at end with the goal of running a sub 4:50 mile and powerlifting >1000 lbs in the same 24hour period. The lifting part is prob. easy for most of you guys, but I'm trying to become the ultimate strength/endurance machine here!
Impressions:
1. For the most part I have tons of restless energy, despite 2x day workouts and hitting the body from a lot of angles that it's not used to. Heavy lifting in the AM followed by intense running and swimming workouts in the PM my body's like WTF is going on! This has created a tired/energized dichotomy.
2. Recovery is amazing. I hit a hard interval session with some 400's around 1 minute and my running partner the next day way like... "I'm fucking sore!" I wasn't even feeling it!
3. A little more emotional than normal, and def. more aggressive.
4. Very hungry all the time.
5. Can't wait to see how this pans out around week 6 when everything is kicking!
