2 Proviron Questions

I may be running fina on its own soon. I would take proviron in order to keep my libido up.

1. Is 50mgs ed an effective dose for that?

2. How will that effect my cholesterol?

Oh yeah it will keep your libido up. Cholesterol I have no idea, although I've never heard about it raising levels.

The time that I used it, 50 mg didn't do shit for me. When I bumped it up to 100 mg that's when the libido really kicked in. I'm an old guy so I probably need more to get my dead ass going, lol.
From what I've read on here though, most guys can get by with doing 50 mg.

Not sure about the cholesterol.

I would imagine that proviron would fuck your cholesterol levels up pretty bad. Its just a hunch though

i disagree with pharmguy. prov is not a liver-harsh drug and, therefore, should do very little damage to cholesterol. prov imo is best taken at a low(er) dose and then titrated up based on how you feel (and look). you can use muscle hardness, again both look and feel, as well as morning wood, as guages for adequate dosage. more is not necessarily better bro. that's how i see it anyway.

40, I have noticed that drugs that make my hair fall out, and give me acne, which proviron does, screw my lipid profile up the worst. And proviron shares a commonality with winstrol, which is allegedly the worst offender, it is a dht derivative.

well, winstrol is one of the most liver-harsh drugs and proviron is one of the least. i don't have access to their similarities, however i am interested to know what they are. i understand about the dht/mpb link, however, there is also a definite connection between liver toxicity and poor lipid profile. considering that, i'm inclined to think that prov is not hard on blood lipids.

well drugs like plavix, zocor and even niacin are liver toxic yet they improve lipid prifile, so I am not sure there is a liver toxic/ lipid profile connection. But I guess its all speculation anyways

yes, you're right, perhaps my use of liver "toxicity" is not appropriate. alterations, or changes in liver function, will most definitely affect cholesterol numbers, however. it is thought, in fact, that niacin has the positive effect it has on cholesterol within the liver...but obviously too much is known to be liver toxic. this is a very interesting topic though, how about some of the doc's on board...?

50 mg of proviron should be all that it takes to keep you solid. I have never noticed a raise in liver values or blood lipids from either proviron or anavar. I monitor such things. Good answers 40butpumping.

I run Proviron through the course of all my cycles. At only 25mg's a day. IT works just fine at that amount and will keep your libido up. I have done this probably 100 times and have run Proviron as long as 6 months with no problems. The cholesterol thing - it is hard to accurately say what is and what isn't going to raise your cholesterol levels when you are combining so many different things. I can tell you this - When I got a blood test for my insurance policy I almost got rejected due to elevated liver enzymes and high choleterol and I was taking very moderate doses. I got around it by saying I was taking Accutane which is a known enzyme elevator. Proviron I've found over 25mg's even 50 will cause your hair to fall out and make your skin oily and when combined with other DHT derivatives it is even worse. Combined with Winny Tren and say Primo with a little test you'll be bald in no time and by a pimply faced oil slick. )
