Oh I'll admit that they CAN be funny, but that doesn't mean they are deserving of being compared to Sinatra, Martin, etc. That was classic in real life and on-screen.

That is very true. The Rat Pack was classic, timeless, even classy. Completely different from Ferrell et al. While I enjoy both types of movies, I don't see HOW they can be compared?
