Now that Mike Mentzer is no longer with us, would you Arnie fans admit that the 1980 Olympia was fixed??

Arnie was the best on 70-75. But 1980 not. Have you seen this olympia?? it´s obvious that he wasn´t on his best shape. Waider had all the contest fixed...

ive only seen the documentary about that competition..not the whole competition...Arnold looked good though..cant deny it...and you know how it works at these competitions...i mean, justl ook at last year Mr.O...should anybody with a "gut" win the Mr.O title for instance..i would have to say no...but what do i know..im from Norway

What gut? Mentzer had probably the best abs in the competition, or tied with Zane. Arnold had no abs, or thighs, his triceps were weak- he never hit a side triceps at the prejudging, he looked great in some poses, but not so good in others.

A lot of people dislike mentzer because of his way to express his thoughts about how all the bboulding comunity was wrong... Well I´m shoure that if this people had half of his IQ they would do the same thing. I mean, these guys hate him because they can´t understand him and his thoughts so they feel intelectualy inferior and they start saying how pedantic he is without logical arguments to his thoughts.
Believe me, my brother is one of them. Thanks god I didn´t get his IQ.

They feel intellectually inferior because he would write his articles with a thesaurus in his hand.

I haven't seen the 80 olympia video but I have seen pics of Mike and he looked pretty good. Nice abs like you guys mentioned.
