i was messing around connecting to unsecured wireless internet sitting here at my desk.

right here at my desk, i typed in 192.168.0.1 (or .1.1) and they hadnt changed the password from admin or even entered one. 3 different people let me on their router configuration pages without any crazy computer skills.

i wasnt mean enough to turn off their internet or make them have to reset their routers by me putting a 20 character password on it or something. lol

we did this by car about two months ago and discovered that there was only about a 5 block stretch from my home to work, about a 20 minute drive, that there wasnt at least one unprotected wireless node at all times.
