19-nor and sleep

salviadro

New member
I have been supplimenting with intranasal 19-norandrostenedione every 4-5 hours and oraly before bed.
My first day on the stuff i got like 3 more reps out of each set.
I also noticed that i look more pumped after a workout.
All great stuff, exept i have been sleeping less, somtimes 4 hours less. Do you think my lack of sleep could be linked to the 19-nor?
I dont have a problem falling alseep but i wake up like 5 or 6 hours later starving, and once im up i rarely fall back to sleep:(
I have a protien shake(milk)/egg beaters and somtimes tuna, right before i go to sleep.
Anyone have any ideas to get me back to my usual 9 hours a night?

Here are a few things to try.

Same boat as you, I swear any kind of supplement (other than sleep related) shoots my sleep all to hell. But I found a few things that have worked for me that may work for you.

1) no supps except multi vitamins 6 hours before bed. Any kind of weight loss pill (i.e. Xadrine) kills my sleep.
2) Try some melatonin (sp?) before bed, it helps you sleep sounder.
3) Do you drink? Because I used to rely on a few cold ones before bed, this build dependancy on it. If you do, knock it off for awhile, it seems to take about 2 weeks to normalize again. Knock it off period if your really seriouse on BB.
4) Search on sleep, hell do that first, the board is loaded with stuff.
5) Try some non habit forming sleep aides..

Good luck

I’ve never tried any of that intranasal stuff but you’re probably waking up hungry in the middle of the night because you didn’t eat enough before going to bed or you’re digesting that protein shake too quickly. I suggest taking in a solid meal within one hour of going to bed. 10-20g can be from protein powder but the majority of the meal should be solid. If you’re still waking up starving in the middle of the night, then have a small meal prepared and put in the fridge before you go to sleep so that you can just go to the kitchen, throw it in the micro for a couple and have a little snack. Some chicken breast and pasta should do the trick. I do this sometimes, usually when I work out later in the evening.
