12 weeks on T3 too long ?

I'm taking 25mcg/day. Wondering if thats going to give me a huge shutdown...


Anyone ever tried one week on, one week off of it ???

25mcg what i understand will not shut you down post cycle. T3 really should not be taken for longer than six weeks in theory but I believe personally that T3 can be run up to 12 weeks MAX and have no perm effects post cycle (especially at 25mcg) do a serach bud at the top of the page and you wil find what all the info you are looking for

Overall T3 sides and effects it can have on the body are extremely exagerated -however it is a very powerful hormone and can cause serious probs if misused

Will I still need the tyrosine, and HIIT while coming off of it?

another question is do I need to cut calories when I come off?

You'll be fine. I know a doc that has had some patients on it for 2 years straight, pulled them off cold turkey and within 2 weeks blood levels were perfect, endo's really say it's safer than you think. Just remember the majority of us are NOT doing this under a doctors care, so listen to the bro's that know.

You should slightly lower your protein intake to 1gram/pound (that assumingou are taking in 1.5-2g/pound) and gradually start to bump carbs back up...this will help your thyroid in recovering to its natural state.

However like said prev 25mcg wil have virtually no impact o thyroid post cycle. Not to sure on the Tyrosine though bud but that post by BIGANDY69 has everyhting you need to know, even post cycle!!!!

There are so many theories about t-3. Some say After 4-6 weeks you risk permanent damage. Them there are some that claim unless you have a preexisting condition you have no worries regardless how long you run it. 25mcg's is a small amount, I think you should be fine. T-3 get's on my nerves after two weeks so I do 2 on 2 off, but I don't think you'd be in danger from 25mcg's.
