Hope we get things turned around, but it looks like Iraq is going to have to endure a civil war first.

2 1/2 months to get those new fangled voting machines fine tuned and in place.

No problem.

I'm just glad that King George fixed our national problems before concentrating on spending the enormous surplus helping the hapless souls half a world away.

Civil war maybe. But who really cares, this is such a small country, its like having Ohio have a civil war. Just not enough people to warrant all this doomsday talk. Itll eventually work itself out.

bust the country up into kurdistan, a sunni state and shiite state...

Each of them about the size of Rhode Island LOL! Turkey sure as hell would like the Kurdistan part seeing as how theyve been fighting that in their own country forever and a day.

Turykey would be pissed but fuck them. let the kurds have their own much deserved country, the turks only want them in Turkey for the oil their lands possess...turkey is a relic from the ottoman empire still clinging to imperial ideals...

problem is that the USA has dumped $200,000,000,000 of their taxpayer's cash into this....hmmmmm makes you think why the taxes are so high in the uS

THE Shi’ite Muslim cleric tipped to become prime minister after next Sunday’s election in Iraq has said it will be the duty of the new government to demand the withdrawal of American forces “as soon as possible”.

Problem is that would have been spent anyhow mostly on military. Whether youre in Iraq or not having a military still costs a great deal of money and that money goes back into the economy anyhow, creating jobs, creating tax revunue, etc... maybe a lil more costly cuz of combat pay increases, but we were would still have to have paid them something anyhow. Its not like were replacing destroyed military equipment on any remotely significant scale in this lil skirmish.

Unconfirmed rumors that they did and not letting on they have him yet, one can only hope. Course there rumors too that they caught and let him go, cuz they didnt recognize em. Rumors are usually bullshit anyhow.

Why wouldn't they want to reveal that they caught him?

Dont remember, but the iraqi spokesman just kept saying no comment when asked, seems suspicious. Maybe they want to interrogate him about the insurgency, find out all he knows first. Maybe I can start rumor about why.
